How To Prepare for Hot Yoga Classes
Be well hydrated:
Drink at least 2 liters of water within 12 hours before class. Don't wait until the last minute, or try to drink a lot of water during class.
Have an empty stomach:
Don't eat for at least 2 1/2 to 3 hours before class.
Arrive at least 15 minutes early:
You will need time to register, complete the waiver form and settle in before class. Please allow yourself more time if you need to discuss any injuries with your instructor.
Wear lightweight, comfortable, snug-fitting clothing:
You will sweat, and you should be able to move freely. Moisture wicking fabrics work very well. You will also need to bring a change of clothing.
What To Bring:
Yoga mat
Water bottle
Large bath towel
Small hand towel
Mats, water bottles and towels are available to rent
at the studio for $1 each.
