I experienced amazing breakthroughs in my life while practicing in India, and I realized that as challenging as this path may be, there was no turning back for me. It is a constant choice, one I make every single day, when I step on the mat and honor my practice. I’ve been practicing diverse forms, including Iyengar, Classical Hatha, Jivamukti Vinyassa, Dharma Mittra and Yin. I was fortunate to practice beside and work with great teachers such as Sharat Arora, Usha devi, Keshava Das, Ramakrishnanada and Dharma Mittra. My approach fosters curiosity, playfulness and self-inquiry. As a teacher I try to create a space that encourages practitioners to go as deep as they wish. I teach a physically meditative Vinyassa flow and interweave pranayama, meditation, and philosophy in a light-hearted approachable manner.
